天门冬科（學名：Asparagaceae）是單子葉植物天門冬目的一科。傳統上本科的植物常被分在百合科中，現代的植物分類學者多根据《被子植物APG分类法》（1998年）、《被子植物APG II分类法 (修订版)》（2003年）、《被子植物APG III分类法》（2009年）採用1789年安托万·罗兰·德朱西厄所發表的學名。

分類编辑

2009年《被子植物APG III分类法》將原本採較狹義的8個科，认为这一科有两种分类方式，狭义的天门冬科只包括天门冬属的几百种植物；广义的可以包括下列7個群植物^[1]：

本科植物在APG II中具較寬鬆的定義各科皆獨立出來，但APG III傾向將下列各科併入廣義的天門冬科，而將習慣使用的其他各科以亞科方式表示^[2]：

天门冬亚科 Asparagoideae （包含原狭义天門冬科）
龙舌兰亚科 Agavoideae（西麗草科和龍舌蘭科合併成立龙舌兰亞科）
星捧月亞科 Aphyllanthoideae（包含原星捧月科）
綿棗兒亞科 Scilloideae （包含原风信子科）
多须草亚科 Lomandroideae （包含原异蕊草科）
假叶树亚科 Nolinoideae（包含原假叶树科）
紫灯花亚科 Brodiaeoideae（包含原紫灯花科）
