Technical details describing the making of of this image:
I chose focus stacking as the appropriate technology in order to attain a clear focus on both the nearest and most distant parts of this flower. The complete stack consists of 29 images with the nearest image focused at a magnification of 1:1.3 and the 29th and last at approx. 1:1.6. As all subsequent images are automatically adapted to the size of the first image, the resulting magnification is exactly 1:1.3. The vivid purple and yellow hues accurately reproduce the natural colouring of the wilted flower and are explicitly not a side-effect of the techniques used (checked via colour chart).

Fundort: Dortmund, Deutschland.
Im eigenen Garten gewachsen.
Länge des gelben verwelkten Staubblattes ca. 20 mm.
Aufgenommen in Juli 2018.
